Modest Needs offers the Bridge Grant to assist persons who've recently returned to work after a period of unemployment, who will probably meet our self-sufficiency standard once they've received a full month's pay, but who are likely to be evicted from their homes or lose critical services prior to that time, Grant Limitations: The Bridge Grant is available exclusively to persons who are employed in a traditional full-time (32 hours per week) job, started working that job 45 days ago or less, have received at least one paycheck from their new jobs, and have an eviction, repossession or shut-off notice in hand or are at least two month's behind on their mortgage payments at the time of their applications.
