Medicare-Half Fare program: Passengers that are disabled Medicare cardholders can sign up. Qualifying applicants will receive a 50% discount on all cash fare transactions for local trips.
Senior Card-Half Fare program: Passengers who are 62 or older can sign up for the Gold Card Program. Qualifying applicants will receive a 50% discount on all fare transactions for local trips. Application is available online at www.busride.org
Senior Monongalians-Ride Free Program: Passengers who are 55 or older can sign up at Senior Monongalians in the Mountaineer Mall. Qualifying applicants will receive free ridership on all local trips. Contact Senior Monongalians at 304-296-9812 for details.
T-OPS: Transportation Options for Veterans and their families. T-OPS is a one stop resource for Veterans and their families to determine the best method of transportation available. T-OPS was developed to support those who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States and their families. In coordination with the new vetconnection.org program we have developed this Transportation Tool named T-OPS to provide a one stop location for all transportation options available in Monongalia County and surrounding areas. This on-line site is provided as a free public service through Mountain Line. The tool requires a short survey to match the transportation options to each individual's needs. The information provided is only used to help not kept as record by Mountain Line nor is it available to anyone else.
Medicaid Shuttle Services: Schedule round-trip service from your home to your medical provider- and Medicaid covers the cost! All drivers are certified in First-Aid and CPR. All vehicles are designed to provide service to those who have hearing, visual or mobility impairments. TDD is available. Call 291-7467. You can apply by calling 304-296-3869.
New FIT: The New FIT Program offers you one phone number to receive all of the following services: Dial-A-Ride, Medical Appointments, Work/Training, Medicaid Transportation, Assisted Services, On Demand Service, Curb to Curb, In Touch and Concerned Services, Door Through Door Services, Veteran Transportation.
*College and high school students ride free with school ID.
