Old Man Rivers Mission

Description:

The goal of Old Man Rivers is to serve one hot meal on Saturday and Sunday fifty-two weeks a year. There is no charge for these meals. Home delivery is provided for those that are homebound. This includes children, elderly men and women, and others that accept the services. Services include temporary crisis housing, clothing, education, counseling, and other benefits to those in need of such. Free clothing is distributed on the second Tuesday of each month between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. There is a shower facility and washer/dryer for those in need. Computer classes and a literacy program are offered. Math and English tutoring is available to assist interested persons in receiving their GED.
