Assists low- income individuals in developing employment skills needed to obtain self-sufficiency. The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources administers many programs that benefit West Virginians. Some of the programs include Adult and Child Protective Services, Food Stamps, Emergency Assistance, Utility Assistance, Medicaid, WV Works, Non-emergency Medical Transportation Reimbursement, and Homeless Services. *See Notes section for locations.
