The mission of the Huntington I&R is to link people with needs to the appropriate resources to meet their needs. Referral Services: - Provides referral to community resources for many health, financial, and social needs. - Provides a clearinghouse for emergency assistance programs (food, clothing, utilities, vision, dental, medication, rent, car seats, transportation, etc.) Information Services: Maintains an inventory database of community resources, organizations, and support groups for individual, group, or agency referrals. In order to obtain the most in-depth information, call 304-528-5660, Monday-Friday, between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm to speak to the I&R staff. Note: some information is confidential and requires screening before it may be disseminated. Homeless Services: Homeless Support Services !€“ Provides case management for homeless persons through I&R Service with staff located at the Cabell Huntington Coalition for the Homeless (304-523-2764, ext. 106), 627 Fourth Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701. Community Needs Assessment: Provides leadership in community needs assessment and service delivery. Christmas Bureau: Base for the Christmas Bureau (toys and food) coordination.
