Description:
Bartlett House, Inc. was founded in 1985 as a nonprofit organization to meet the needs of the homeless population in Monongalia County, West Virginia and surrounding areas. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The shelter can house up to 72 men, women and children. In 2012, Bartlett House opened up a second facility on West Run Road to provide Permanent housing to 16 chronically homeless individuals. In 2016, Bartlett House completed the final Phase of the West Run Project and opened it's doors to the 36-bed transitional program. Bartlett House is located on University Avenue in downtown Morgantown, WV. The shelter is located on the bus route and within walking distance of the Salvation Army, Soup Kitchens, Health Right, Christian Help, and numerous other supportive service agencies.
