Description:
Canaan United Methodist Church is a new ministry that launched on July 1, 2008, when Central, Greenlee, Wesley, and West Side United Methodist Churches united. By thinking outside the box and dreaming big, Canaan UMC provides relevant ministries on the West Side of Charleston and throughout the greater Charleston area. Hot meals are served at the church on Sundays at 5:30 pm. The food pantry is open on Monday and Thursday from 1pm-3pm. The SHARE Program provides discounted food kits for $20.00 and under and can be ordered monthly.
