I provide a safe environment that promotes healing for survivors of abuse and children struggling with life and emotional issues. With the use of various techniques including Art, Sand, Play and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, you achieve freedom from pain and skills to address life's challenges in a healthy and safe manner. My expertise in the field of child development helps me understand young children. With this knowledge I gently guide children to use toys to "play out" their feelings and experiences, like adults use words to "talk out" their experiences. Dealing with abuse, past and present, is complex and painful. Not dealing with it can be even more painful. Addressing these issues, though, can be a liberating and strengthening experience. After many years of assisting survivors of abuse heal, I have learned how to help guide you on the path of healing. The most important ideas to master are: "It's NOT your fault" and "YOU have the power to make it stop and be free." We work together in a protected and supportive environment to foster this healing.
