Fairmont Housing Authority now has affordable financing available for single family owner occupied houses that are in need of repairs. These funds are available for items such as a new roof, furnace, windows, siding, gutters, porches, energy efficiency flooring and more. All work must be completed by a licensed contractor and all homes will receive a work write up by an independent inspector. The funds are limited and do come with some credit restrictions and income limits. Includes Harrison County Community Development Block Grant Program Offering Rehabilitation Loans and Grants to qualified homeowners in the City of Morgantown Area. Federal Home Loan Bank Program Offering Rehabilitation Loans and Grants to qualified homeowners in the Fairmont Area. CommunityWorks Home Rehabilitation Program Funds are now available for home repairs the CommunityWorks Home Rehabilitation Program. Approximately $15,000 available for owner occupied residents in West Virginia. Interest rate is based on income and ranges from 1 to 4 percent. Closing costs grants are also available!
