A disorder that is characterized by misuse of mood-elevating drugs such as Elavil, Melloryl, Endep or MDMA (Ecstasy) which can cause clinically significant health and mental health impairments or problems with personal, social or occupational functioning. Negative side effects may include nausea, increased appetite and weight gain, fatigue, insomnia, blurred vision, agitation, irritability, anxiety and decreased interest in sex and/or inability to have an orgasm.
