Faith in Action provides free services to any elderly or disabled person in Kanawha or Putnam counties in West Virginia. There are no income eligibility requirements. Individuals of all ages can receive services from volunteers who give their time and talents to enhance the quality of life for our neighbors. Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley provides a variety of services to people in Kanawha and Putnam counties based on the availability of volunteer caregivers to fulfill the requested needs. Services include: Escorted transportation to medical appointments !€“ non-emergency medical transport; escorted transportation to the grocery store; caregiver respite; shopping and other errands; light housework; yard work !€“ chore; visitation; telephone reassurance calls/supportive services; paperwork.
