Description:

Hospice relieves pain, fear and loneliness for the terminally ill by providing an organized and complete program of care, which includes the management of pain as well as the psychological, social, physical and spiritual support needed by the patient and the family. Nurses, social workers, home health aides, and volunteers are involved in care of the hospice patient. Offers opportunities to volunteer with patients and families in many different capacities. Also use volunteers to assist in administrative, organizational, office and clerical tasks.
