My Friend's House Adult Day Care offers a planned program of activities designed to promote well-being though social and health related services. The center operates during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, in a safe, supportive, cheerful environment. Nutritious meals that accommodate special diets are typically included, along with an afternoon snack. Individual must have a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer's. Nurse on call at all times. Requires a physician!€™s order showing physical or mental diagnosis requiring supervision. Must be ambulatory. Pre-admittance screening required. Located at Cecil H. Underwood Senior Center and operated by Cabell County Community Services Organization, Inc. Cost of Services: Sliding scale based on income. $3.50 an hour !€“ $5.00 per day, Private Pay, Grants Available.
